Odd but entertaining. Kinda like a teenage female empowerment version of the movie Evolution. Definitely watchable and mildly funny has enough going for it to keep you watching to the end but instantly forgettable.

I generally agree with the critics reviews- there are a [very few] slow spots, and some looseness in the plot and editing, but this was a romp of comedy-horror that kept us both cringing and laughing throughout. There wasn't anything that took us out of the movie or jarred our reason enough to make us question it. A very enjoyable film- especially since there was virtually no one we recognized in it.

Literally a remake of Shawn of the Dead with females instead of guys and aliens instead of zombies. A watered-down, decade later, less funny, less original remake of Shawn of the Dead. And yes, there are a few funny moments but ultimately it is a much less funny, kind of tired version of Shawn of the Dead with aliens instead of zombies. If that's your thing, knock yourself out. I'd just watch the original Shawn of the Dead instead if I were you.
