Audience Member “Hitler is always hungry…I WANT MY COOKIE!” This is kinda one of those movies that just has to be seen. I don’t really know if it’s actually a good movie, but it sure is an amazing one. A psychiatrist, who’s probably just as nuts as his patients, attempts to cure their insanity by having them act out the rise and fall of the Third Reich. Angus Macfadyen is quite good as Nutty Adolf Hitler and it’s always a treat to see Star Trek’s Rene Auberjonois in a lead role, but the rest of the cast is truly “That Guy!” brilliant: Richard Moll, Jeffery Combs, Brion James, Armin Zimmerman, Mena Suvari…it’s quite surreal. Rent it up just for the experience. Two hours is a bit much and you might hate it, but I bet you won’t be able to forget it. VF. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I can't decide if this is genius or simply in shockingly poor taste. The cast of the film is almost as strange as the movie itself, and that's saying something. It's kind of funny. But it's that funny where you laugh, but also feel like you shouldn't, or like you should maybe be upset. Is there a point to it all? I don't know. If there is, I didn't figure it out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A very interesting and funny concept with some great performances but just not executed well enough for me to enjoy it thoroughly. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Its just interesting to see the rise and fall of the 3rd Riech done by mental patiants. I like dark comedy and its just interesting. where does the fantasy end and reality begin? Brent Simon Entertainment Today A serio-comic tale of the absurd, Phillippe Mora's film isn't a perfect film, but it is bold, enveloping and fantastically thought-provoking, anchored by a vivid, maniacal, full-throttle performance from Angus Macfadyen.
