Simpson was pissed off at the officers in charge for throwing him under the bus so why go after Becket Sr. a lowly gunny sargent. Plus all the times he gave away his position for no reason. He would have been killed umpteen times before he got to Santorini. Also how the hell did Becket Jr get to Syria hitching rides on boats and running cross country?
