Audience Member Un budget microscopique pour recrà (C)er cette histoire en contexte de guerre. Un bon film qui repose sur l'inventività (C) et la sensibilità (C) du rà (C)alisateur et le jeu des comà (C)diens. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A reporter and photographer are in a skirmish while covering the front lines in a war in Eastern Europe. The writer wakes up after being in a coma in Quebec to discover his friend (the photographer) did not come home. He tries to piece the story together to remember what happened but has trouble because of his loss of memory. This film won the Grand Jury Price for Best Narrative Feature at the 2010 Slamdance Film Festival. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not typically inspiring with somewhat detached character development and and a fragmented storyline that doesn't live up to the potential that it could have been, but simply was all that it strived for. That being said, it is well shot and has some considerable production values. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member In a genre that has had many accolades, Snow & Ashes doesnâ(TM)t have the feel of a classic war film; what it does have, however, is intimacy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This was rated 2.5 stars on Netflix which nearly made me not want to watch but I decided to check it out anyway. It was very realistic movie, good acting and the photography was great. Clearly those who rated are more used to the Hollywood stamp:-) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member pas convaincue... du tout.
