Audience Member A little too offbeat for my taste, but I still found it to be an enjoyable film with terrific performances. Jeanie Drynan is particularly good. Nicely written. The cast worked well together and really seemed like a family, very well cast. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic! Honestly didn't know if I would like it, this movie showed a true family dealing with their demons and their mother's illness. Besides being utterly sad at time, it also had me falling off my seat laughing. The characters show you a truly believable family! Great acting on all parts! This is a must-see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Another special offering from "Down Under". Get the extra big box of hankies for this one!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A dark but humorous Aussie flick. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Emotionally charged, this quiet Aussie film is a charm to watch.Four siblings return to the family home to nurse their sick mother, and alliances are reformed and broken in this trying time. Great performance from Jeanie Drynan as the mother, and Russel Dykstra as the ex con. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member I originally found this movie on oddfilms.com and when it and I met on late-night cable, we became instant lovers. Soft Fruit is hysterical and bittersweet at the same time. You want to hate the characters and but you love them too much. I can safely say this movie started my love affair with Australian cinema.
