Archibald Ackroyd (Stewart Granger), Bill Sykes (Robert Newton) and Dennis Malloy (Cyril Cusack) are three mischievous but talented English soldiers stationed in India during the 19th century. The group's antics frustrate their hard-nosed commanding officers, Col. Brunswick (Walter Pidgeon) and Capt. Pindenny (David Niven). ashley h @ashleyhobgood87 12/30/2018 Soldiers Three is an excellent film. It is about a British general who reminisces about the days when he was a colonel in charge of a British Army battalion. Stewart Granger and Walter Pidgeon give fantastic performances. The screenplay is well written. Tay Garnett did a great job directing this movie.
