Audience Member It's a shame the ending was so awful because most did stay true to the short story. There was another particularly bad scene where they found Mary Anne with the new soldiers because her transformation wasn't presented properly. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Awsome and inspiring, very moving. The short story this is based on "Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong" can be found in the book. "The Things They Carried". By Tom O'brien (not sure on the first name). He collected tales from US soldiers during the Vietnam war. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A great war movie, a totally different story line, I love it.....one of my all time favs Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie! Despite the irony of the story plot, Georgina Cates truly shines in this film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
