Jeff M Yawn... Truth be told, the only reason I gave this title a second glance is because I saw Margot Kidder attached to it. And she is pretty much the only reason to watch. She provides what little life and energy the movie has. Wouldn't it be fun just once if the eccentric, nosy busybody was the main character and the boring, personality-free single mom was the neighbor? But this movie isn't interested in originality. This is a checklist of suspense cliches, including but not limited to: the scary moment that is actually a dream; the mop-top kid with an imaginary friend (or is he????); phone calls with no one on the other end; the creepy landlord raking leaves; the suspicious ex-boyfriend who still gives the kid sports memorabilia; the single cop with dreamy eyes and bad timing; the bad guy giving a 20-minute soliloquy as to why he's bad, giving his victim ample time to loosen the rope around her wrists... And the list goes on. Powers is as bland as they come, and I assumed this was a TV movie, but I heard some f-bombs flying, so I'm not sure what's up with that. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Audience Member Thrills and chills await you as you unravel the mystery in this film. Wonderful in every category. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Predictable from start to finish. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member cliche film. but had nice acting. the music destroyed it the most i think.. and the cliches. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Well-acted TV flick has its share of suspense and eerie scenes, but sheer predictability and routine ending blunt the overall impact of the film. Typical suspense movie Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Really kind of silly but strangely irresistable. Some scenes were spooky, but the killer had a hilarious quality not unlike Jack from The Profiler. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
