Critics Consensus

In spite of solid performances from Kate Hudson and John Krasinski, Something Borrowed is an unpleasant misfire that lives down to its title.

Audience Member literally terrible, it made the two evil people in the mvie seem GOOD! Imagine your fiance cheats on you with your BEST FRIEND and suddenly THEY get to live happily ever after, get away scott-free, and make you seem like the bad guy. absolutely terrible. Never wanted to punch someone through the screen more. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Leandra H Esse filme foi realmente muito ruim Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/12/24 Full Review Mark C Unbelievably terrible. The only characters who don't deserve being smacked by a bus are the two minor comic reliefs. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/08/24 Full Review Hayden P If zero stars was an option I would have chosen that. Unfortunately 0.5 is as low as I can go. It’s a horrible movie with the most un-likable characters. The only person that was somewhat decent was Ethan… a big waste of time. Great if you like cheaters Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/13/24 Full Review Elizabeth F One of the worst movies I’ve seen in my life. Kate Hudson’s fiancé cheats on her with her best friend Ginnifer Goodwin, and somehow those two are supposed to be the good guys? Hated it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Barbara T They absolutely butchered the book! Which is really sad because the book was great. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews
