Nothing compares to the magic and excitement of the holidays in New York City, where the streets blaze with lights, windows dazzle and a special box from Tiffany could change the course of a person's life. This movie is so bad. The main character woman is unbearable - from her voice, her personality, her choices, and her nonexistent business and customer service acumen. None of her makes any sense - there's no way a person like her could feasibly go through life and still survive, have a business, and be able to live in NY comfortably. She's just so annoying. There is also no chemistry between the two main characters. Also the story sucks. The background to each character sucks. Why is daisy so invested in her dad's love life? Hate it. This movie made me so depressed to watch - and it depresses me that this movie even has a 60 rating on here.

A little late to watch Christmas movies, but glad I saw this one. Although it never claims to be a great movie - after all, it is a Christmas romance movie - it has good acting. Although it seems rushed at the end, it has a good pace overall. It is light, fun and has a well-balanced dose of comedy, drama and romance.

Cute Rom Dram. Strays a little too much into the drama category to be called a Rom Com but the lead actors deliver some authentic sentimental moments reminiscent in pacing, tone and location to Sleepless in Seattle. It doesn't quite hit the romance of that film, which was itself a nostalgic revival of a vintage film but it has its moments and the best friend character and young Daisy enliven it as a whole, so it's worth a watch.

The vast majority of holiday movies are to be avoided unless you enjoy tooth extraction. Happily, Something from Tiffany's is the opposite of the average fare. Chemistry among excellent actors, sharp dialogue, good plot make this exceptional holiday viewing. If you want a movie to lift your spirits and make you laugh this is a great choice.
