Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya Autostraddle Still, it’s a mostly fun late-summer film, would likely go down easy with a drinking game. Sep 6, 2024 Full Review Ian Freer Empire Magazine The female-first vibe is refreshing but Something In The Water is something old, nothing new, a lot that is borrowed and an eyeful of twinkly blue. Rated: 2/5 Jun 28, 2024 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) Something in the Water is competently filmed, with lots of propulsive underwater shark’s eye shots of the flailing legs of the bridesmaids. But there’s rather too much time spent watching the girls bobbing and bickering in the middle of the ocean. Rated: 2/5 Jun 24, 2024 Full Review Guillermo Courau La Nación (Argentina) ... Although this film does not come to reinvent anything, what it does, it does well. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Sep 27, 2024 Full Review Maria Lattila Film Stories Ultimately, Something In The Water just isn’t scary or thrilling enough to keep us invested. Rated: 2/5 Aug 9, 2024 Full Review Jack Martin Film Feeder While it might not be an especially groundbreaking shark thriller, Something in the Water has a fine enough grasp on its characters and tone that give it plenty to chew on. Kim B I actually really enjoyed this movie. I thought it was very well done. I thought the acting was good as well. I would watch it again. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Stuart T This film was one of the worst I have seen. They used all the budget on the leg scene at the beginning and the rest of the film dragged Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review matthew C DO NOT WATCH THIS GARBAGE. I know my shark movies and this is awful. Not scary. Almost no actiin. Awful acting. Terrible dialogue. I really regret but this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/08/24 Full Review Benjamin H I fucking love the filmography and actors. I love the plot. The outerbanks vibe. I love the peril and danger. I love the thrill. I put my phone down when they got on the island and couldn't take my eyes off the screen since. I rewatchex this movie binged it and replayed it over and over again. I HATE the big corporate reviews and assholes that sensor everything good and replace it with false facts and opinions. This world is getting so ridiculous where good and joy is replaced with sorrow and emptiness. The people who are never fulfilled by anything are ruining the world today. There. it's been heard. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/24/24 Full Review Nicky B So slow. So incredibly slow. Finally when sharks ARE involved they bull rush the girls and then go jk, and swim away after causing a small scratch. It's almost funny how bad/stupid it is but it definitely wasn't worth the watch. Bad acting, bad plot, barely any sharks. 1/10 can't think of a movie I regretted watching more. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/21/24 Full Review Dave M I wish I could get back the time I spent watching this terrible movie. Boring plot and awful CGI when you finally get to the sarks in the final moments. Do not watch! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review Read all reviews
