Audience Member Maybe every once in a while we need to be somewhere slow in our lives to get that happiness back Jessalyn Gilsig, Robert Forster, and Graham Patrick Martin Ana is fairly unhappy with her current lifestyle with a dismissive husband, an empty marriage, and a job going nowhere One day she decides to leave everything behind but all the while she gets caught in the middle of a robbery by a young man named Danny Basically it's a story of two souls trying to find themselves Both of the leads are very good with nice chemistry figuring out what they truly want out of their lives It's also filmed beautifully with plenty of quiet tender moments to have it told in a different manner Jeremy O'Keefe makes a romantic dramaedy that avoids many typical cliches proving that two strangers can start to realize what they really want to move forward Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Audience Member What happened to Jessalyn... And why do men in all these movies always have to be the unappreciative buffoons... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I can't say this the best film but I am now a fan of Jessalyn Gilsig and Graham Patrick Martin. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Una propuesta interesante y a mi punto de vista bien lograda. Las actuaciones son buenas, al igual que el guión y el desarrollo. Vale la pena darle un vistazo. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tirdad Derakhshani Philadelphia Inquirer A terrific low-budget indie romantic dramedy ... Rated: 3/4 Jan 31, 2014 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Tapping into the near-universal desire for reinvention, Mr. O'Keefe gives us a well-worn story that somehow avoids glaring clichs or forced melodrama. Jan 30, 2014 Full Review Inkoo Kang Los Angeles Times Frequently affecting and mordantly funny, "Somewhere Slow" acquits Gilsig as a gifted actress and a producer with great taste. Jan 30, 2014 Full Review Nguyên Lê The Script Lab There are traps everywhere to go overly sentimental here but instead O' Keefe has made the moment very real. Oct 10, 2018 Full Review Mike D'Angelo The Dissolve Journeys of self-discovery don't amount to much when the people involved are made of cardboard. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 7, 2014 Full Review Brent Simon Shockya.com Puts viewers on a slow train to Posed Self-Actualization, with too many stops along the way.
