The authorities do not know what to do with 14-year-old Martin (Ludovic Vandendaele) and his 12-year-old brother, Simon (Eric Da Silva). No matter how often they separate the two delinquents and ship them off to various foster homes and reform schools, the brothers always manage to escape and reunite in their seaside hometown, where they terrorize the locals. Living like drifters in a makeshift camp on the shore, they indulge in petty crime and vandalism. But will they get caught again?

Audience Member One of the most brilliant and poignant films of recent memory, "Son of a Shark" does not praise juvenile delinquency it treats it like it is harsh and real. The film has remained with me all these years since the brief U.S. release in '95 and will haunt the viewer forever. Hopefully it'll soon be digitally enhanced and released on Blu-Ray for all to see this magnificent film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
