In rural Sardinia, Sonetàula (Francesco Falchetto), a young sheepherder, is raised under the watchful eye of his father, Egidio (Lazar Ristovski), and grandfather, Sebastiano (Serafino Spiggia). When Egidio is wrongfully accused of murder and sent to fight a war in Africa, Sonetàula, along with his grandfather, dutifully tends to his father's flock. But the young boy must go into hiding when a dispute with a rival herder drives Sonetàula to commit a rash criminal act.

Audience Member You see, if the story actually was what the info says, it'd be great, but it's not. The filming is fine, the acting is fine, and lighting is quite nice. On the other hand the story is so loose it confuses the shit out of you. It seems like its just plain missing sequences, not to mention the timing is WAY OFF. It could have been much more successful at an hour shorter than its actual length. P.S. I saw this for free and I'm still complaining.
