Audience Member 2.4 he basically plays the same exact guy his was in the office Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/08/20 Full Review Audience Member Song of Back and Neck had some scattered laughs and solid moments throughout, but overall the movie was pretty disappointing. Throughout the entire movie, I wasn't sure if the focus of the movie was supposed to be on his budding relationship, his work life, or his interactions with the chiropractor. The pacing of the movie was a little uneven and left a lot to be desired. It wasn't absolutely terrible, but this is a movie I would suggest passing on. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Paul Lieberstein (The Office) makes his silver screen debut here, as writer, director and lead actor. I found a mixed bag here with some of the dark absurd humor working effectively, while much of it was too awkward and just fell flat. The fine actress Rosemarie DeWitt gives an engaging performance and adds life to the movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member While it loses steam in its final act, Paul Lieberstein debut as a film director is one to be admired for making a original take on a flawed character dealing with a midlife-crisis in such a odd way. Ben Kenigsberg New York Times Broad cultural stereotyping is just one example of this movie's dreary sense of humor. Nov 28, 2018 Full Review Brandon Katz Observer Song of Back and Neck is a ridiculous (in a good way), oddly moving portrait of being stuck in a 25-year rut. Apr 26, 2018 Full Review Matthew Passantino Film Threat While it's an amiable effort, there's not much to grasp onto in this film.
