It upsets me how many people have never seen this dark comedy. The world misses Leslie Jordan, and Brother Boy is one of those roles that are why. If you grew up in a small town where people are close, but homophobia is high then this is the movie for you.

Sordid Lives is an awesome movie. It is about three generations of a family in a small Texas town who gather for a funeral. Delta Burke and Beau Bridges gave fantastic performances. The screenplay is well written. Del Shores did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the humor and romance. Sordid Lives is a must see.

This was the best low budget movie I have ever watched by far. If you can get past the cheap quality and be forgiving of the corniness, you may be surprised, like me, by just how enjoyable and satisfying this movie can be!
