It’s refreshingly unaffected. The storytelling is routine. It warrants neither its hard-core disciples nor its worst enemies. Ignore the dishonest huffing and puffing. Go to Full Review

A thunderously crass and manipulative movie that is hampered by erratic pacing, pantomime bad guys and an overfondness for shots of Caviezel weeping God-fearing, manly tears. Go to Full Review

Jim Caviezel is a one-man scourge of child predators in this well-meaning thriller that doesn’t entirely deserve to be written off as culture-war propaganda. Go to Full Review

It’s directed remarkably and delicately, it’s acted powerfully, and it tells a story that’s simple but very easy to get invested in. But when you hold it up to factual scrutiny, the waters become grayer. Go to Full Review

And yet, for a film about a man engaging in precarious subterfuge among deep-jungle guerilla traffickers, it’s weirdly boring, its tension and intensity diluted by cornball overtures... and Caviezel’s long, slow, brooding stares. Go to Full Review

Caleb Apr 24 Best movie showing the real world See more michelt Feb 22 hate that the marketing and advertisement for this movie wasn’t pushed as much as it should have been. portrays a very scary but realistic story that can happen on the daily for awareness yet instead it was almost forced out of box offices and theaters. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS MOVIE AND WOULD TOTALLY GO SEE IT AGAIN IF I COULD! See more Afand A Jan 21 This is what you call Hot Garbage. It's basically a film designed to help "re-masculate" straight white men by casting them as emotionally sensitive--but still never crying!--while they go on manly adventures, singlehandedly entering (and escaping!) guerrilla country all to play savior to the poor little brown children because all the other non-whites are, well, you know, the bad guys. This is a fable built on lies and insecurities, and shows how really fragile the egos of all those tough guys really are. See more Dan K. Dec 27 The concept of the movie made me very emotional. It exposed a very tragic crime that exists in the world. Overall it’s hard to watch, so it may not be your cup of tea. See more Nicholson N 12/15/2024 awesome movie. Very eye opening to the cancer that is s*x trafficking. See more Majaliwa 12/14/2024 Very good story and awareness See more Read all reviews
