Daringly changes tone, and challenges expectation, without ever missing the beat. The acting and the design are consistently spot-on in their homage to the '70s, but it's smarter and deeper than the gag-fest you might expect.

This is one of the best space films I've ever seen. It's approach is light, and there is plenty of fond throwback to 70s films and the TV show Space 1999. The people aboard this space ship are leading complicated, unsatisfying lives. As the plot slowly unspools and the characters' lives slowly unravel I became aware I was watching something more more akin to a Eugene O'Neill play than a goofy sci fi spoof.

A unique and darkly funny film (with a top-notch cast) about dysfunctional relationships and connections set in a funky 1970s take on the future.

I really like this movie. Its a great picture of what it would be like to raise a family in space. The working classes, family issues, personal struggles, dramas between neighbors and what its like for children growing up in this environment. The acting is great, and the script is composed well. Certain areas left me with questions, but other than that I love the film!
