Gary W One of the great cheese shows. High camp and loving it. Even the card board models are awesome. Old CGI plus Dennis Hopper and Charles Dance, what's not to love. It feels more like 1986 than 1996, but the 80's retro makes it even more charming. Ignore the critics and catch this gem on YouTube. It should have been named STAR F&%^*ERS, not STAR TRUCKERS. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Anthony S Practical effects, miniatures, and C list celebrities turn this average script into a fun space romp. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/09/23 Full Review b m Its so bad but i cant stop watching it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/20/22 Full Review dave j Co-story, co-produce and directed by Stuart Gordon which has (Dennis Hopper) employed to fly and glide several space containers of dangerous killing machines straight to earth. But before going on to this trek, he brings along a former Space trucker, Mike (Stephen Dorff) and a young woman who has made a promise to marry him Cindy (Debi Mazar) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Ridiculously fun! Watching in 2021 it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to some of the more recent, and unoriginal, sci-fi movies I've seen. Each and every scene is amazing to look at, brilliantly creative and its flaws make it better somehow. I highly recommend if you're looking for a fun sci-fi movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Cockeyed, wildly inventive genre spoof couched as a picaresque space adventure. A spot-on lampoon of Burt Reynolds good-old-boy road-movie vehicles from the '80s. All the redneck cheese is deliberate and production-designed brilliantly. Led by Dennis Hopper, the entire cast "got it." They all sell the script with gusto, playing their lines utterly straight, never once winking at the camera. Stuart Gordon's inimitable formula of whimsy and sentiment, juxtaposed with sudden outbursts of explicit gore, never worked better. Strap in as the last of the independents picks up a mystery load bound for distant Earth. Let's just say the manifest was a little light on some critical details. Restored version now playing on Amazon. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Curiously, the PG-13 rating interferes with Gordon's potential, preventing him from embracing the weirdness and bloodshed typically found in his pictures.
