As for the subtitular forbidden zone, no one gets there until an hour of the 90-minute movie has passed. "Adventures on a Quite Leisurely Jaunt to the Forbidden Zone" lacks zip, though. Mark F Dec 30 Great fun. Much better than expected. We thought it'd be cheap and cheesy but it turned out to be well acted with surprisingly good sets and a memorable villian. My 17 year old son was impressed. Think Red Dwarf meets Barbarella and Mad Max. See more Sebastian L Dec 25 The first half of Spacehunter is one of the slowest and most confused openings of a movie I've come across. Ironside as the incredibly entertaining villain Overdog fortunately saves the rest of the movie from complete failure, and Ringwald's commitment is partly a substitute for the least interesting protagonist in movie history. The acting is competent, the editing and pacing is tight, the music is good, the production and set design is imaginative and cool. I know...it's not about gay cowboys or grrl power, but 23% and 37%?
