As for the subtitular forbidden zone, no one gets there until an hour of the 90-minute movie has passed. "Adventures on a Quite Leisurely Jaunt to the Forbidden Zone" lacks zip, though. Then again, "adventure" is a charitable description of anything here.

In the 80s, Spacehunter probably gave you a good night at the movies. But in 2022, it's ultra cheesy firework effects can't hold together a flimsy plot line. Ringwald and Strauss serve up the distopian vibes.

I always liked Spacehunter,not very original,a combination of Mad Max,Star Wars,Alien,Flash Gordon and so on.Definately entertaining and watchable and cheesy at times.Would highly recommend it

23% and 37%? What the #@&! is wrong with you uncultured philistines? This movie's good. It has hot chicks, a dollar-store Han Solo knockoff, weird monsters, cool-looking sets, and great villains. Yes, the plot is simple and generic. The characters are simple and generic. But it's really, really well done. The acting is competent, the editing and pacing is tight, the music is good, the production and set design is imaginative and cool. I know...it's not about gay cowboys or grrl power, but 23% and 37%? Watch this movie and enjoy it, or you're stupid.

This movie sucks...no other way to say it. A young Molly Ringwald leads the way with Peter Strauss. I'm not sure why Columbia Pictures put money into this terrible movie, but they did. Maybe if they sank a little more money in the Special FX it might of been a little better. It is only 90 minutes long, but I came close to turning it off about 4 times.
