Guillem Martinez Oya Cinematismo A sutil film about the abuse of power. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Jun 8, 2023 Full Review Carlos Bonfil La Jornada ... The film solidifies Ulrich Seidl as a great explorer of human vices and weaknesses in rough fictions that maliciously tamper with reality. [Full review in Spanish] Apr 5, 2023 Full Review Elsa Fernández-Santos El Pais (Spain) A rosary of social pathologies cultivated in the well of forgetfulness. [Full review in Spanish] Mar 24, 2023 Full Review Carlota Mosegui Cinemanía (Spain) The best film of Seidl's extensive filmography is the most difficult to digest. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 5/5 Mar 23, 2023 Full Review Randy Meeks Espinof Deplorable at its core and makes you feel constantly uncomfortable, but at the same time it challenges you, depicting the most hidden side of a pedophile who is clearly unable to live a normal life. [Full review in Spanish] Sep 20, 2022 Full Review Leonardo Garcia Tsao La Jornada Without really saying anything pertinent about the subject, or developing the protagonist's pathology, Sparta seems futile. Greg K Very touching and haunting. Perfect counterstory to Bravos fate in Rimini. Nevertheless it was clever of Seidl to seperate the movie into two parts. Because Sparta just feels wrong productionwise: All too often one can see and feel that the children performing in this movie, did not know what they were in for. One just does not do that to young human beings. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/25 Full Review Read all reviews
