Jesse D This is a very interesting and well-done film. I appreciate the non-judgmental perspective. So glad these folks are working out how to get what they want in life. I really feel for Ari when his mother is absolutely cruel to him. How painful that must be. He deserves a loving and proud mom. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Olivia O Loved it; doesn't really hit you until after it ends. It's beautiful, moving, and provocative. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Melissa M It was good, very entertaining but it left on such a cliffhanger! Do they get custody of Italy? Does he get to hold her hand during her medical-thing? I want to know! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review ellen p Spermworld enters into the unregulated arena of sperm donations and focuses on the journey for human connection. The topic itself is a bit uncomfortable yet the filmmaker provides us with poignant stories of the people he follows. The cinematography is done beautifully and respectfully; the music is great; and it is incredible that the people that are filmed are bold and willing to tell their stories. Thought provoking and heart-felt, Spermworld is a must-see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Max Fainaru-Wada Willamette Week Spermworld may be devoid of easy answers, but it’s easily one of the best and most important films so far this year. Apr 17, 2024 Full Review Abby Olcese The Pitch It’s hard to shake the feeling that for all its curiosity, Oppenheim’s film has all the empathy of a Vice documentary, an aspect that leaves behind an uncomfortably bitter aftertaste. Apr 5, 2024 Full Review Edward Frumkin The Film Stage Whatever you take out of this Rorschach test, Oppenheim’s lens elucidates the organic nature of relationships and how no one can force life. Time is your friend to fully experience the process. Rated: B Apr 2, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider Must see. Apr 1, 2024 Full Review Christopher Campbell Nonfics It focuses on quirky subjects but finds and showcases the humanity in these people. We aren’t meant to gawk at them and see them as different; we come to identify how much they are the same and embrace them as interesting yet genuine human beings.
