It focuses on quirky subjects but finds and showcases the humanity in these people. We aren’t meant to gawk at them and see them as different; we come to identify how much they are the same and embrace them as interesting yet genuine human beings.

This is a very interesting and well-done film. I appreciate the non-judgmental perspective. So glad these folks are working out how to get what they want in life. I really feel for Ari when his mother is absolutely cruel to him. How painful that must be. He deserves a loving and proud mom.

Spermworld enters into the unregulated arena of sperm donations and focuses on the journey for human connection. The topic itself is a bit uncomfortable yet the filmmaker provides us with poignant stories of the people he follows. The cinematography is done beautifully and respectfully; the music is great; and it is incredible that the people that are filmed are bold and willing to tell their stories. Thought provoking and heart-felt, Spermworld is a must-see.
