Audience Member One of the best Irish films to date. After the highly rated RTE series Paths to Freedom that follows the life and crimes of wanna be inner city rapper Rats from the flats, Spin the Bottle see the hapless Rats fresh from another stint in Mount Joy prison to get his music career on track with the aim of raising funds to help his morbidly obese aunt to go on a pilgrimage to Lourdes for a cure. Not one for working a day job, Rats' flirtations with menial employment only get him into hilarious brushes with the Irish Gardaí (Police) and disappointing his elderly mother and her spooky church group. Rats' only hope is to persuade his old Sperm.com band mates to help him pull off one last performance to win back the faith of his family and friends.
