Just really dumb and slow and too long. It's a B-movie, it's made for TV, and it was made for BET. Seemingly before the exploitation era. Somehow this movie got ported to this new channel for black people, Bounce. But there is no redeeming qualities of this film. Did I mention bad acting and a main character that's a douche from the start? And yes, to top of it off the cheesy '80s-'90s era guitar riff, best heard in ABC After School movies. Apparently the description of this film was a total lie or was badly portrayed, as '70s B-films were better than this. Easily. One of the main characters has his soul slowly pulled to the netherrealm. They show that by him getting more cold with white markings on his skin. And he just sounds really pathetic, going from dome tough macho jerk douche to a weasly sounding punk ass bitch by the end of the film. And it wasn't even a cool transition. You wanted to hate him because he has no social skills, not because he is an actual grade-A great actors at being a douche. There is nothing redeeming about this film. Just skip it! I'm forced to give this film a rating, otherwise I would leave it at 0. It's so God-awful. Her stunning camerawork and riveting dialogue paired perfectly with the quaint island scenery and all of the sandy, sandy sand. I found that the scenes that captured my attention most were the shots that only featured a cat walking around aimlessly, and the part with the orange slice. Just watch it, you'll know what I mean. It captivated me until the very end and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
