Chantel B I don't know if James McAvoy won or garnered nominations for this role, but watching him play all of these personalities was golden. He did an awesome job. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Lukas W The movie was really entertaining to watch.James McAvoy played is role perfectly. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Breezy B This movie is definitely a good watch I always enjoy a good psycho. The acting was actually better than I thought it would be, I know one man portraying many would be tough so i was scared i was going to see some ridiculous acting... but this wasn't bad at all. Sometimes throughout the movie things felt a little dragged but other moments I was on the edge of my seat. Not the best but not the worst. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Kyle J Shyamalan is obsessed with a weirdo kidnapping teenaged girls. He has the same weirdo taunting kidnapped pretty teen girls in both SPLIT and GLASS. SIXTH SENSE was made by a person with a soul. What happened? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Mar C I can't believe I haven't rated this yet and 5 stars it deserves! Amazing performance from the lead actor. I couldn't believe how he was able to change his facial expressions so well. It deserves a far higher rating than what it's getting. I wish more movies could be like this. I usually hate or get bored with Oscar nominated and Oscar winning movies because they are always stereotypically the same. Movies like Split are far beyond any Oscar movies. The only downside is that there won't be a continuation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Samuel K This was an amazing movie great acting and writing Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Udita Jhunjhunwala Livemint This is still not mint-condition Shyamalan, but he's heading in the right direction, with some help from McAvoy, who gives Kevin-and 23 other characters-all that he's got. Jul 30, 2019 Full Review Jonathan Romney Film Comment Magazine The way that Shyamalan and Gioulakis emphasize close-ups and medium shots make for a taut, clean forcefulness that...give Split a leaner, hipper feel very different from the increasingly aestheticized studio polish of Shyamalan's earlier work.
