Audience Member England's top-grossing film of 1948 is a pleasant, frothy romantic comedy which also gives star Anna Neagle a chance to display her dancing talent. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Michael Wilding is a hard up aristocrat who takes a job as footman in the house of art connoisseur Tom Walls, because he takes a fancy to Walls's niece, Anna Neagle. The other staff consider him acceptable because he can play bridge. There are some complications involving some paintings, but of course everything gets sorted out okay in the end. Fanciful and charming. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
