Despite having solid field training, CIA analyst Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) has spent her entire career as a desk jockey, working hand-in-hand with dashing agent Bradley Fine (Jude Law). Using high-tech equipment and a hidden earpiece, Susan is the guardian angel who helps Bradley avoid danger. However, when Bradley is assassinated by Bulgarian arms dealer Rayna Boyanov (Rose Byrne), Susan wrangles her way into her first undercover assignment to help capture Boyanov and avenge Bradley.

Spy is many things: A clever spoof. A chance for Melissa McCarthy and her co-stars to strut their comedic chops. An international romp. It's also a pretty darn engaging spy film. It's about a woman leaning in and finding her inner Bond.

By those very meager standards, Spy will just about do the job: it looks like someone’s in control, it’s not gratuitously offensive towards the marginalized, it has the guts to get violent and get an unexpected laugh via a jolt...

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I would say the cast were given a lot of freedom to play their roles and that was aided by a brilliant script.I quite honestly have viewed the movie 3 times and each time I was curled up with laughter.my rating is 8.5/10.

The first requirement of a movie like this is to make me laugh and this worked pretty well on that front. There were lots of f-words and crude jokes but they were no too over the top, even for my wife. We'd just watched all 24 Bond movies so it was fun seeing a tubby woman replicating Bond's moves- crazy fast car chases but driving a motor scooter instead of an Aston Martin, rushing up stairs into obvious danger, escaping from impossible situations, going into Ritzy places as if she owned them. It even had a plot of sorts and a few surprises, so that was a bonus. Spy is to any Bond movie, as Galaxy Quest is to any Star Trek movie. If that makes sense to you, you'll enjoy Spy.
