Jonathan O @RT41230270 Mar 8 Is like Scream (without horror) and Austin Powers trilogy do a serious action movie with slapstick/spoof comedy and i laugh a lot and Jason Statham stills the spotlight from all the serious actions movies he done this is really best acting ever and Melissa does incredible comedic and action role. See more Pat D @RT12712028 Nov 30 The first requirement of a movie like this is to make me laugh and this worked pretty well on that front. There were lots of f-words and crude jokes but they were no too over the top, even for my wife. We'd just watched all 24 Bond movies so it was fun seeing a tubby woman replicating Bond's moves- crazy fast car chases but driving a motor scooter instead of an Aston Martin, rushing up stairs into obvious danger, escaping from impossible situations, going into Ritzy places as if she owned them. It even had a plot of sorts and a few surprises, so that was a bonus. Spy is to any Bond movie, as Galaxy Quest is to any Star Trek movie. If that makes sense to you, you'll enjoy Spy.
