Rebecca Olson Bitch Media Spy is a smart and uplifting film - one that's finally worthy of Melissa McCarthy's comedic genius. Jan 28, 2021 Full Review Max Weiss Baltimore Magazine Spy is many things: A clever spoof. A chance for Melissa McCarthy and her co-stars to strut their comedic chops. An international romp. It's also a pretty darn engaging spy film. It's about a woman leaning in and finding her inner Bond. Rated: 3/4 Jun 10, 2016 Full Review Jason Bailey Flavorwire At its core, this action-packed, globe-trotting, gender-switched Bond spoof is about lookism. May 28, 2016 Full Review Vadim Rizov Filmmaker Magazine By those very meager standards, Spy will just about do the job: it looks like someone’s in control, it’s not gratuitously offensive towards the marginalized, it has the guts to get violent and get an unexpected laugh via a jolt... Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies If you want something fresh, intelligent, and outside of the modern norm good luck finding it here. Rated: 1.5/5 Aug 25, 2022 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Even though the R-rated movie overstays its welcome by about a half-hour, preventing itself from becoming a sharp, breezy lark, it’s a James Bond parody worth a casual viewing. Rated: 2.5/4 Jun 9, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Joleen S Melissa McCarthy is fantastic in this movie. There are tons of jokes and innuendos. Perfect in so many ways. Perfect fun-to-watch, action packed movie. Perfectly casted Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/25 Full Review David D Choc full of wonderfully hilarious one liners and one action masterpieces. It's as close to an Airplane type film as you will likely get. Enjoy! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/25 Full Review Leaburn O A good comedy with a strong cast. Not laugh out loud but good lighthearted fun throughout. McCarthy dominates the film and does a good job. Watched on Netflix. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/29/24 Full Review Audience Member A show that's made for sickos that tell and laugh at dirty jokes. Literally so bad i remember walking out mid way going home and watching something else trying so hard to forget the movie. It's absolutely garbage. The fat womans voice is so annoying you Literally get a Headache, the so called "humor" sound like a grade 7s stand up comedy school project that uses swearing for laughs. I honestly don't know why people like this shitty movie. It's boring, derogatory, dirty, annoyingly stupid, not funny, bland, typical story line if any was even depected, absolutely dreadful acting. And when you get excited that someone cool is going to happen it doesn't. Spy is a movie for dead beats that have a very dull life and sense of humour. And get kicks from watching and listening to swear words and find them funny. Wow can I get my money back as well as some therapy. To get this disgusting movie out of my head. Oh and also my time back too. Thanks primary school dropout director. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review Jafar H I’ve fairly enjoyed the movie, the only thing they could’ve done better was Jason Statham’s role, I think he just isn’t the best comedy actor, I love ALL of his movies but this one let down a bit, other than that it was a good enjoyable movie!! Definitely worth a watch! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/15/24 Full Review Louis S Melissa McCarthy and Miranda Hart in the same movie! Wow I must be dreaming! Easily two of the best actresses, and comedians ever, and the star in probably the best comedy of the 2010s. This movie is literally perfect! Best film I’ve watched this year and an easy 5 stars Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
