      Critics Consensus

Burdened by a rote plot and unfunny scatological humor, All the Time in the World suggests that the Spy Kids franchise has run its course.

I watched it kind of a long time ago, but I remember it was good. I watched only one other Spy Kids movie and that was very different. Spy Kids 4 was a very interesting movie. What I don't understand is how this movie is so underrated. This movie got a 23%🍀 for critics and a 37% for audience, that's too little. I thought this movie wasn't that bad, I thought it was fine. Even though Spy Kid movies have low audience scores, this movie has the lowest, and that's sad. What is so bad about this movie, what? This movie needs higher ratings and more respect. What a great movie. Anthony Quinn Independent (UK) The mind boggles before being lulled into a stupor of inanition by this latest instalment of Robert Rodriguez's increasingly cheap-looking franchise. Rated: 1/5 Aug 24, 2011 Full Review Alison Willmore Time Out Rodriguez's family franchise about underage secret agents limps into its fourth installment with shiny CGI and frequent fart jokes to hold the attention spans of the underage and undemanding. Rated: 1/5 Aug 24, 2011 Full Review Nick Schager Village Voice Like its predecessors, a tediously cartoonish candy-colored rollercoaster. Aug 22, 2011 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz Despite boasting the now depressingly ubiquitous Hollywood family comedy moral of "spend more time with your kids", Spy Kids 4 does present a reasonably entertaining way of at least achieving 90 minutes towards that goal. Rated: 3/5 Jul 30, 2021 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com The film looks like one of those kaleidoscopes where you twist and turn it and look at all the pretty images. Rated: 1.5/4.0 Sep 24, 2020 Full Review Colin Kennedy metro.co.uk With any luck, the pre-teen audience will have as big a lark as [Robert] Rodriguez but this fourth film does seem cruder and ruder than the first three in the series.
