Audience Member Moshe Mizrahi, a moment before finding his own voice and Academy Award nominations, makes an atempt to be an avant-gardist. I don't know how the film worked in its time, but today it's a pretty tedious experience. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member finally saw the film last night. it was superb. a movie about feminism and universal love. plus an excellent soundtrack and performance by art ensemble of chicago in the movie. radical and hip! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a great film, only rediscovered recently. Obviously, the Art Ensemble's soundtrack is better known, and clearly helped the film get a reissue, but the film is a striking example of post new-wave and proto-feminist ideology. A really progressive film also, in terms of its attitude toward relationships and marriage, as well as womens' roles in a patriarchal society. Amazing stuff.
