This documentary follows the various plights of a Christian family as it deals with the social and religious pressures of living within Indonesia, a country with one of the largest Muslim populations in the world. Despite frequent anti-U.S. demonstrations and a prevailing anti-Christian sentiment, aging widow Rumidja lives out her remaining years as a devout Christian, while her son Bakti wrestles with his own faith and that of his Muslim girlfriend.
