Robert V If you are looking for a women in prison movie in space, this one will satisfy. Production values are a notch above from similar films in this genre. Decent special effects and lots of scantily clad beautiful women. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Audience Member So bad that... it's good. Just look at that space ship with its egg crates lined walls and foam tubing. This is Fred Olen Ray's best film without a doubt...!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Fives stars for the VHS cover alone. Fred Olen Ray is an awesome dude and a great American. If you trash Fred, you are trashing America. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting only for the lame but good-natured humor and the concept of a women's prison picture set in outer space. Aldo Ray and John Carradine are there, but really not there... both near the sad end of their careers. And breasts... did I mention there are breasts? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Spaceage women in prison film played for more laughs than seriousness. The credits include a clip saying to watch for the continuing adventures of Taura in an upcoming film. The film studio apparently took a pass. Can't argue with that call. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member One more step and your rod is history Two women that reside in a brutal futuristic society struggle to obey the law and find themselves locked up in a woman's prison. Initially, the two women cannot stand each other; but ultimately, they will need to work together to overcome lesbian prison guards, mutant creatures, and a crazed and confused warden. "I heard he stuck his hand in a hole it didn't belong." Fred Olen Ray, director of Bikini Time Machine, Bikini Royale 1 & 2, Bikini Pirates, Teenage Cave Girl, and Venomous, delivers Star Slammer. The storyline for this picture is fairly standard for the female prison genre with contains nice science fiction action sequences. The acting is fairly awful and the cast includes Sandy Brooke, Marya Grant, Susan Stokey, and Richard Hench. "I see they haven't removed enough of your brains. Your mouth keeps getting your ass in trouble." Star Slammer was a movie we came across on Amazon Prime and decided to give a shot since it reminded us of the old 50s science fiction classics. This is one of those awkward movies that keeps shocking you in terms of weird sequences where you can't wait to see what comes next. This film is fairly unique and interesting and worth giving a shot. You may find yourself saying, "It's so bad it's good." "The man who gives into evil opens the door to his own asylum."
