It's easily one of the best in the series -- the best, in fact, since Leonard Nimoy and the old Enterprise crew saved the whales in "Star Trek IV." Go to Full Review

remains one of the high points in the overall Trek film franchise, an engaging and suspenseful melding of science fiction, horror, and the kind of high drama that comes close to earning all the Moby Dick references Go to Full Review

j f @LiberteBurrows Dec 1 Borgs—the globalist liars of the Federation. Queen Borg some variety of intergalactic honeypot. See more Lindsay G Nov 26 "Star Trek: First Contact is a masterpiece of sci-fi adventure—smart, thrilling, emotionally resonant, and packed with unforgettable Borg action. Easily one of the best Star Trek movies—and the only film that makes you cheer for the crew while secretly hoping you get your own starship." See more Michael A Nov 13 Absolutely my favorite Star Trek movie. It takes on the position of being the first Star Trek movie with the Next Generation crew solving their own conflict as they take on the Borg, the arch nemesis from the TV Series. Of course, this movie escapes a lot of the heavy weight of heavy-handed philosophy and speaks to one of the more revered themes... Revenge, and where that road could lead us. Loyalty and friendship can save the day, the greatest day in our history... our future. See more Nunya B. @NunyaDamBusiness Oct 23 I love TNG and this is their take on a zombie movie. See more azeem h @Azeen Sep 24 While it doesn't quite reach the levels of Wrath of Khan, this by far the best of The Next Generation crews films. As Patrick Stewart chews scenery with a plomb and we as an audience love it. A fantastic space adventure which touches upon survivor syndrome and it's effects after Patrick Stewart's Jean-Luc Picard was taken hostage and converted into the very enemy he was fighting in the original next gen series. Yet at the same time touches on themes from Moby Dick of revenge driving you to edge of madness - this one's no subtle. Like The Dark Knight this film works as a film in it's own right. Must watch for Star Trek fans. See more Edward W Sep 8 Resistance to watch this is futile. See more Read all reviews
