It's enjoyable enough and fits nicely into the "Star Trek" canon. And Michelle Yeoh... never fails to entertain. Go to Full Review

It is sloppy, misguided, and frankly rote, overstuffed with concepts that it only superficially explores. Go to Full Review

While it’s now unavoidably and unfortunately canon, let’s hope Section 31 was just a stumble on the way to better and bolder things. If this is what the Federation’s underbelly really looks like, I’d rather it stayed in the dark. Go to Full Review

It’s hard to ignore the extent to which Star Trek: Section 31, the franchise’s first new film in over a decade, feels distinctly alien from the rest of the Star Trek franchise. Go to Full Review

I came here to watch Michelle Yeoh kick butt, and kick butt, she did. So, I got my money’s worth. I love Georgiou, the good and the bad versions, so being able to see her again was a delight. Go to Full Review

As pretty as the visuals are, the rest of it's fairly thin, but the fact that it's all about Michelle Yeoh makes it work. Go to Full Review

Steven C @AnonymousBosch 14h Awful. Bad plot. Bad writing. Not entertaining. See more Gustav G 1d You could not pay me to watch this film ever again. Ridiculous. See more Johnny R 5d A stylish and interesting twist on any previous Star Trek movies, with intriguing characters that make you want to know more about them. There are brief trips into the past of the Teran Emperor that help shape why their character is so rich and complicated. The film was originally to be a series, where each character could have been explored in far greater depth. The film did leave me wanting to discover much more about each of the characters, which a series would have provided. See more Lawrence F. @mrfergy Nov 28 What’s the word for this “Masterpiece ?” Oh yes, “Trash.” I was so disappointed by this poorly written, poorly executed, waste of time. I’m a huge Star Trek Fan, have been for nearly 50 years . I have seen EVERY episode and movie multiple times (even the bad ones, there are several) but I finally found the one that I barely got through Section 31, 1time. I’m thinking if I could sue Paramount (or Viacom ) or whatever corporation that owns the Star Trek IP? It would sue them for the time I wasted watching this mess they marketed as entertainment. I probably lose in court because I chose to watch it. Do yourself a favor: save your time and skip watching Section 31. See more Stacey S. @Astroman Nov 26 Within 20 minutes you realize you just wasted 20 minutes. Garbage has a better smell. See more Jerry A Nov 17 What even is this?! Tax scheme? Contract conflict?
