Definitely worth REWATCHING if you were born when JFK was president and you saw it on CBS in 1978. Fans must realize how starved we were for ANYTHING Star Wars after seeing only "A New Hope"!!!!

Truly one of the greatest films ever made. The characters, the story, the world building, the dialogue, everything was perfect. George Lucas is THE greatest filmmaker and storyteller in history, fuck off Hitchcock, fuck off Shakespeare, the new king is in town. This is and always will be the greatest piece of not only Star Wars Media but every piece of media in existence. Nothing I repeat NOTHING! Can top this film. Tears were brought to my eyes upon my first watch. The experience was surreal and I will never feel this happy again.
