      Audience Member This is a terrible movie. Please don't waste your money or the precious 90 minutes you'll never get back. I have a large sci-fi collection and this is one movie I don't plan on ever seeing again. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Ultra ultra sci-fi. The effects looked pretty great. I'm surprised. Everything looks like they made the most out of low quality (computer animate everything). The acting was pretty bad most of the time and the story and dialog was a bit worse. I suppose if you put this on mute it would be a much more enjoyable movie. All crtics of sci fi should be made to watch this movie. Have to admire the guts of the director just to go ahead and do it on low budget. The ship effects where ok. There was a flicker of potential in this movie. Check out my fan edit on youtube starship rising fan edit. All first year media students should be made to sit through this. It's a massive challenge to anyone to do better. This guy made a movie on a shoe string. Let's see you do better! He broke so many rules! Blood spurting, rape, hard swearing, random sex, He took the rule book for sci fi , filmmaking and dialogue and set fire to it. This movie IMHo needs a huge amount of editing. This movie is strictly R. Wish they could edit a pg version. The timing of its release is genius though cos there is a real demand for a cool space movie.
