Joel C Would starvation drive you to kill? Honestly, probably not. The main characters make silly decisions from the get go so it's very hard for the viewer to have any sympathy for them, even when one of them is pregnant. So, them dying isn't a problem, them living so long is. The idea of fighting for food does make good entertainment, but things like CGI blood and giving in so easy makes it corny, considering it's only two crippled red necks running the show.
