The characters convey so much information without saying a word, and they do it well and clearly. This is a filmmaker who trusts his audience enough to not beat us over the head with exposition, he lets us figure some things out for ourselves, but I never felt frustrated by unanswered questions. I will watch this movie again and again just to watch the interplay between the three talented leads. The story is not what I expected. The scenery is lovely. It doesn't lean into unnecessary CGI, nudity, or archetypal characters.
