99% 153 Reviews Tomatometer 95% 250+ Ratings Audience Score The film, which will incorporate documentary, archival and scripted elements, will recount Fox's extraordinary story in his own words -- the improbable tale of an undersized kid from a Canadian army base who rose to the heights of stardom in 1980s Hollywood. The account of Fox's public life, full of nostalgic thrills and cinematic gloss, will unspool alongside his never-before-seen private journey, including the years that followed his diagnosis, at 29, with Parkinson's disease. Intimate and honest, and produced with unprecedented access to Fox and his family, the film will chronicle Fox's personal and professional triumphs and travails, and will explore what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease. With a mix of adventure and romance, comedy and drama, watching the film will feel like... well, like a Michael J. Fox movie. Read More Read Less

William Always liked Michael J. Fox. He had determination along with great talent. Great story of his climb to success and his struggles dealing with Parkinson disease! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/23 Full Review Oliver G Subjective as it may be; I watched this documentary through the lens of "meditation" (by that I mean along the lines of "mindfulness", "spirituality", etc.), and I couldn't help but observe this documentary for what it was: A truly beautiful window into life itself, what it means to be human, and so, SO much more. Incredible, and a beautiful story. I cried during most of the film, and not a single tear was shed for MJF (I'd like to think he'd appreciate that "line"). I just cried 'cause it was beautiful to watch. Thank you, MJF. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Andrew K Feels strange having the word "Awesome" next to the star rating I've given this movie. It's great because it's deeply informative and honest. How a person who rises to one of the greatest heights in entertainment that anyone can reach deals with seeing it not just slip away, but be taken a piece at a time by a degenerative disease. And the fight to not let that disease take the autonomy and purpose of their life away, but to redefine it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/05/24 Full Review Audience Member Extremely well done. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Steve H So much fun. Felt like I was watching an 80s film. Definitely snubbed by Oscars this year. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/24 Full Review Lori M I was captivated from the first moment to the end. It's a beautiful, honest and sweet depiction of Michael J Fox and his past and present reality. I loved it and will watch again with my daughter. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jen Chaney New York Magazine/Vulture Guggenheim makes it clear from the very beginning of this clear-eyed, honest, and cleverly edited Apple TV+ film that he understands the through-lines in Fox’s life. Jan 3, 2024 Full Review Henry K. Miller Sight & Sound Still is a nuanced meditation on the price of success. Jun 8, 2023 Full Review Stephen Romei The Australian Asked why he wants to continue to tell his story, he says, “I love my mind and I love the places it takes me and I just don’t want that to get cut short.” Anyone who watches this uplifting film will share that feeling. Rated: 4/5 May 18, 2023 Full Review Robert Roten Laramie Movie Scope Fox is interviewed extensively in this movie, and he is funny, disarming and upbeat. He always has a quip ready for any occasion. It is easy to see the personality and wit that made him so popular, even in the advanced stages of his illness. Rated: A Jan 7, 2024 Full Review Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat Spirituality & Practice An extraordinarily intimate portrait of the actor who used a diagnosis of Parkinson’s to discover he is really was and what he could do for the world. Rated: 5/5 Dec 27, 2023 Full Review Mark Johnson Awards Daily Poignant and powerful. Still skillfully weaves together humor and nostalgia using archival footage, scripted recreations, and a personal interview with Michael J. Fox. Nov 21, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
