Subjective as it may be; I watched this documentary through the lens of "meditation" (by that I mean along the lines of "mindfulness", "spirituality", etc.), and I couldn't help but observe this documentary for what it was: A truly beautiful window into life itself, what it means to be human, and so, SO much more. Incredible, and a beautiful story. I cried during most of the film, and not a single tear was shed for MJF (I'd like to think he'd appreciate that "line"). I just cried 'cause it was beautiful to watch. Thank you, MJF.

Feels strange having the word "Awesome" next to the star rating I've given this movie. It's great because it's deeply informative and honest. How a person who rises to one of the greatest heights in entertainment that anyone can reach deals with seeing it not just slip away, but be taken a piece at a time by a degenerative disease. And the fight to not let that disease take the autonomy and purpose of their life away, but to redefine it.
