Vicky Beautiful movie! A must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/01/23 Full Review bz excellent lead performance heartfelt story Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/28/23 Full Review Mary I highly recommend this movie to anyone! Asante Blackk and Luis Guzman had an incredibly powerful and heartfelt connection that was truly captivating. Guzman's character was dynamic, authentic, fun, and relatable, making the story come alive. My friends and I all absolutely loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/22/23 Full Review Jay G. Decent movie overall. I just wish it had more music. A story about graffiti without music is like shoes with no laces(& I was never a fan of shelltoes). Rome Streetz however, did have a nice title track. The story definitely captured truths about today. A society full of self absorbed crazies that get others into nonsense instead of concealing the ones "they care" about from problems. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/16/23 Full Review Marcus Great plot it reminds me of myself An artist who saw something in a stick up kid Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/12/23 Full Review Deacon I liked everything. The lighting, angles, colors. A great piece of work. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Amy Nicholson FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) When Luis Guzmán comes out to use his movie star charm to take this movie and put it into his pocket, you just go "Oh yes." Nov 1, 2023 Full Review Zachary Barnes Wall Street Journal A homespun vision of the borough, the film nevertheless struggles to leave a mark, like paint sprayed into open air. Sep 29, 2023 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com The outlines of the movie’s story are familiar, but Torres has resourcefulness, energy, and imagination to burn in how he tells it. Rated: 3/4 Sep 29, 2023 Full Review Wade Major FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) Tremendous. This reminded of the great indies we got in the 1990s. Nov 1, 2023 Full Review Murjani Rawls Draftkings Nation 'Story Ave' throws just enough surprises and room for the performances to do the work in making this a meaningful experience. Oct 27, 2023 Full Review Charles Koplinski Reel Talk with Chuck and Pam To be sure, “Story Ave” may seem familiar but thanks to Blackk and Guzman’s fine work as well as Torres’ honest approach, it proves to be an unexpected and moving surprise.
