Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) The film's visual assets are clearer than its batty storytelling. Rated: 2/5 Jul 6, 2012 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian The movie isn't perfect and arguably doesn't quite come together at the end, but it works as an intense and bizarre psychological drama, and the Kent landscape is gorgeously evoked. Rated: 3/5 Jul 5, 2012 Full Review Jessica Lambert Little White Lies Beautifully shot and mostly well executed. Lea and her cast are worth looking out for. Rated: 3/5 Jul 5, 2012 Full Review Joseph Walsh CineVue Both Bottomley and Madeley are excellent at capturing the subtleties and downright insanity of the characters they play. Rated: 3/5 Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Jason Solomons Observer (UK) I liked this modest film, its unusual setting, its new-folk music (by Troubadour Rose) and its conscious echoes of A Streetcar Named Desire. Jul 8, 2012 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Aside from the first-rate cinematography and editing, it's is so disappointingly arch that we struggle to believe anything, even as it touches on important themes. Audience Member Yes, liked this one. Lowlife and gritty, and mainly about two sisters and their relationship, it rang true and gave a positive spin to hard lives. Who picks those strawberries? People like these. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A very weird British film about 2 unusual sisters. one is odd the other a bit psychotic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Possibly one of the most boring films I've seen in quite some time. I was drawn in by the title and the fact that the main character poses as a fine arts student from Scarborough at the start of the film, but it's all downhill from there on. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Not alot happens here but the scenery is good. This was more of a tv drama than a film Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is not a feel good film, nor does it tr;y to create any beautiful locations despite being set in the 'Garden of England' county. The sibling relationship is intense but not the most appealing to watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Whilst not without flaws, Strawberry Fields is well shot and offers some engaging performances. It may have nothing particularly original to offer, but its certainly worth a watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
