Jazz musician Mike Fall (John Harron) and his band, The Four Seasons, eke out a living playing at a dingy restaurant. After Mike rescues young Hungarian woman Freddie Joyzelle (Betty Compson) from a drunk, he learns she is a violinist and offers her a job playing with the band. All goes well -- until Freddie demands a raise, getting the band fired. Feeling guilty, Freddie arranges for the band to work at a Hungarian restaurant frequented by a prince, which leads to surprising developments.
