Raiodesol S Maybe it's just me, but this movie seems a bit unsure of itself, trying to manage too many storylines at once and not giving enough depth to its characters. I also watched this movie with a bunch of people expecting it to be more horror ish, so that influences my experience. Nonetheless this movie has amazing (like a lot of 80s b movies) makeup and practical effects, enough to make my friends say "eww I don't know if I want to watch that". Anyways, I think cutting unnecessary bits and characters, this could a much more interesting movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Joshua H Not a bad movie, but it could've been better if it where more focused on the main plot Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/26/23 Full Review Cedric G This movie made absolutely made no fu*##ng sense and the plot was all over the place but as a fan of cheesy 80's horror and B-movies it's entertaining from start to finish. And if gore is your thing you'll love it! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/23/23 Full Review Ek Very funny movie comedy horror Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review BigD J Street Trash is a glorious composition of grotesque, heinous, comedic gold. As many others have stated, it's highly offensive in all the best and worst ways; ways in which you can only get away with in the 80's. Could do without the rape scenes. But other than that, the gratuitous nudity and color laden death scenes put this up there atop the list of the 80's era greats like Frankenhooker and Evil Dead 2. Definitely a must watch! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/22/23 Full Review Thomas R "Street Trash" is a rip-roaring, LMFAO horror/comedy. It has an outlandish plot, an over-the-top cast, and it's filled with old-school, oozy-gooey, 1980's special effects. Director J. Michael Muro, best known as James Cameron's go-to cinematographer ("The Abyss," "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," "Titanic," and "True Lies"), has yet to make a second horror film. I wonder why? He evidently has an "eye" and talent for making this sort of thing. If you enjoyed this rollicking gore-fest, you might also enjoy watching "Fingers" and "Why Don't You Just Die!" Walter Goodman New York Times It claims no redeeming social value, and you don't have to be a Supreme Court nominee to question whether the Founders could have foreseen anything like it when they wrote the First Amendment. Rated: B- Jul 9, 2014 Full Review Anton Bitel Projected Figures Always gross and grotesque, but beautifully shot (you can tell its director is also a cinematographer), it is a true one-off, writing its poetry of the street in lurid outrage and humour so very, very wrong Mar 18, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews
