Audience Member Utterly riveting. Two south African filmmakers investigate the illegal rhino horn trade. Done with warmth, empathy but clarity. They look at the human side of all involved, the traffickers, the consumers in Vietnam and Laos and elsewhere. At times heartbreaking but also strangely hopeful. At the end we uncover that behind it all is protection provided by corrupt ANC government ministers that have turned the freedom movement of the past into a criminal syndicate. Highly recommended Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolute must see film! Amazing journalism and an eye opening experience as to what is actually going on in the world Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Follow two incredible female filmmakers as they go in search of the answers to the random slaughtering of our cherished species. What is most painful to watch is where the rhino horns end up. Although this is a problem we face as locals, the rhino poaching will not stop until we can change international perspectives. Make sure you watch Stroop ...it's the real raw Rhino story. We have to end this senseless war on our beautiful Rhinos ...Rhinos don't have passports ..we all need to help in protecting them. So many emotions experienced while watching Stroop but one thing is certain I will tell every single person I know to watch this incredible documentary. Together we CAN make a difference !! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Seeing the subject covered; one ought not to say a great documentary; as of course it is a terrible and incredible sad story; but regardless of the content; I feel it is necessary to say congratulations in truthfully capturing the incredible sad reality of the war on our rhino, in capturing the feelings, the emotions, the truth and in digging deep to uncover the horrendous reality. The producers have created a documentary that EVERYONE ought to watch, in some of the finest investigative journalism. And I do believe that with this documentary the film makers are making a difference already; as it will spread the awareness, educate people and with a slim hope change perspectives. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member A must-see heartwrenching documentary regarding the poaching crisis of rhinos in South Africa. Bonne & Susan did an amazing job of bringing this story to the forefront. Only by people seeing it and becoming educated about this tragic situation will things begin to change. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A brilliant moving film, a must see showing the battke to protect the rhino Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
