Even if this were just a trashy thriller, I could have enjoyed an 85-minute movie about a poor woman hired by a family with secrets. However, this movie runs nearly two hours and has no reason to stick around that long.

I actually really enjoyed Strung on Peacock. I’ve seen a lot of people say it was predictable, but honestly, it didn’t feel predictable to me. Maybe I missed some obvious clues, but I was genuinely surprised by several moments and thought the story kept my attention. I can understand why some people compare it to The Housemaid, and there are definitely some similar vibes, but Strung still had its own twist and personality. It wasn’t perfect, but it was entertaining, suspenseful, and better than I expected. I liked the pacing, the tension, and the way it kept me wondering what was really going on. Overall, I thought it was a solid thriller with its own flair. Definitely worth watching if you enjoy movies with drama, secrets, and a little “wait, what?” energy.

What a wonderful surprise this was.The lying,cheating, greed and power hungry some people can be. What starts as an innocent encounter followed by a one night stand leads Laila into a whole new word. Desperate for money she takes a tutoring job for a rich family but after time she suspects something evil is happening in that house. I absolutely enjoyed this and the performances were good. Its ok and worth watching. People are comparing it to the housemaid but its not even close. The acting is subpar, and the plot is too disjointed and chaotic. That said I didn't compare it to the housemaid myself because it is quite different. I did like the unexpected horror moments and for a cheesy drama its not bad.

I thought this was a great horror movie with a great soundtrack. I've played the violin, so I can relate to some of this, and I love classical music. Highly recommend it.
