Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast Loses steam in the back half but there's still plenty of belly laughs to be had in the first half. Rated: 3/5 Aug 9, 2021 Full Review Joe Lipsett Horror Queers Podcast Adheres to the dumb/smart approach of other classics such as Airplane! and The Naked Gun. Opens strong, gets a lot of funny jokes in and then loses steam heading into the finale, but a worthy early horror parody nonetheless Aug 4, 2021 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy A slog through broad potty and sex jokes, surface-level satire, and the misplaced conviction that being loud is the same as being funny. Rated: 2/10 Aug 14, 2014 Full Review Scott Nash Three Movie Buffs It's rough around the edges, but any fan of slasher horror will get a chuckle out of it. Nick G This movie is a classic!!! Yes it is funny and a parody of the 80's slasher films. the killer aka "The Breather", will leave you in stitches. This movie really took off once it hit cable back in the 80's. It's a great popcorn movie. The over the top actions of "The Breather" makes this film. And you will love Horsehead Bookheads!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Clark P When you see me watching this film I would be laughing to death. This a underrated comedy movie. For people who don't like horror movies, they make it funny so go watch it right now. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Too damned violent and unoriginal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Student Bodies is a og of scary movie franchise but student bodies is really outrageously hilarious from 70's thru early 80's horror comedy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review jaime h Way ahead of its time. created a whole new genre. dark and funny Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Before Scary Movie there was Student Bodies, a slasher spoof that's more Epic Movie than it is Airplane. It's just a bunch of cringeworthy, corny jokes that limp along, being neither funny or scary. Until we reach a dull, uninspired ending that does little more than make me yawn.
