Ken B Wow. This was just downright ANNOYING! Very difficult to sit through. The first 40 minutes is nothing but these two boney bimbos giggling and chuckling and acting like giddy 14 year old girls at a slumber party, doing nothing but snapping pictures of themselves! Like…I could LITERALLY feel my brain cells dying! Sad thing is, this was supposedly based on true events so there was a little bit of wiggle room for this movie to have modest potential, but it was just so poorly executed from the writing to the amateur directing that we are instead left with one big train wreck of a film! Barry Hertz Globe and Mail Set aside the fact that Sugar’s screenplay is filled with holes, that its characters are as loathsome as they are thinly sketched... and we are still left with a movie that is barely competent on a technical level. Nov 14, 2022 Full Review Liam Lacey Original Cin A superficial movie about the menace of superficiality, Sugar warns against the menace of social media, and incidentally, of international drug trafficking. Rated: C Nov 19, 2022 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said Two Montreal-based women tricked into the murky world of the international drug trade. Chilling - and a true story.
