Blake H Fresh concept, heartwarming, hilarious, inspiring & relatable. As someone who struggles with finding a purpose in life, I appreciate films that make me feel like I'm not alone & deliver it in a lighthearted & comedic way. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/10/23 Full Review Andrew D A beautiful movie that if you'll just see it through to the end you'll see it's how everyone, no matter who you are or how weird or backward you are, there is still a place for you in this world to make a meaningful contribution. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/23/23 Full Review Andrew S unexpected storyline, heartfelt, funny, excellent acting from the whole cast, all around good movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/18/22 Full Review Audience Member I found this movie very entertaining and heartwarming. The thing that separates it from other movies is that it is story driven and story faithful. There is no extraneous BS. The story is about a modern day mentally challenged catcher in the rye finding his way in life with the help of a loving mother, a salty step father, a Marine and a troubled girl. The movie never strays. Kudos to first time director for her performance in the movie and for keeping it simple. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Andrew A It ends up being a character study of Ned understanding his limitations and finding his purpose. Not much really happens. I watched all the way through because I was interested enough to see how it ended. But I don't think I would watch it again. It's just okay. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/23/20 Full Review Audience Member This was a light hearted quirky movie and I was fine with the guy being so oblivious but I found it hard to believe that he found a girl who was just as oblivious even though we’re supposed to just accept she’s looking for any type of acceptance at all in her life. 2.5. When the girl called him the hard r word it was pretty messed up . Especially since she was the real r word for no seeing what’s going on Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/20 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sheri Linden Hollywood Reporter Morrison balances her affection for all the characters with droll naturalism and an assured visual style. Jun 26, 2017 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation At some point, fairly early on, it stops being cute. Rated: 1.5/4 May 8, 2018 Full Review Kristy Strouse Film Inquiry Morrison made an excellent choice for her debut. You can feel her warmth for the characters in her personal stamp on the story. It adds to this spirited tale of a person overcoming their limitations. May 8, 2018 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com It connects with intimate moments, with Morrison preserving as much personality and private yearning as possible, keeping the picture away from becoming a complete cartoon. Rated: B- Apr 19, 2018 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Offbeat tale of odd young man; cursing, mature themes. Rated: 4/5 Apr 18, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
