A beautiful movie that if you'll just see it through to the end you'll see it's how everyone, no matter who you are or how weird or backward you are, there is still a place for you in this world to make a meaningful contribution. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!

I found this movie very entertaining and heartwarming. The thing that separates it from other movies is that it is story driven and story faithful. There is no extraneous BS. The story is about a modern day mentally challenged catcher in the rye finding his way in life with the help of a loving mother, a salty step father, a Marine and a troubled girl. The movie never strays. Kudos to first time director for her performance in the movie and for keeping it simple.

It ends up being a character study of Ned understanding his limitations and finding his purpose. Not much really happens. I watched all the way through because I was interested enough to see how it ended. But I don't think I would watch it again. It's just okay.

This was a light hearted quirky movie and I was fine with the guy being so oblivious but I found it hard to believe that he found a girl who was just as oblivious even though we’re supposed to just accept she’s looking for any type of acceptance at all in her life. 2.5. When the girl called him the hard r word it was pretty messed up . Especially since she was the real r word for no seeing what’s going on
