      william s just a mess of a thriller. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Ryder Hart (Peter Weller) is an alcoholic private investigator, whose wife (Alexandra Paul) is murdered. He tries to solve the case, with his own style and comes up with corruption ring with illieagal immigrants, assassins and transplant surgeryes. Weller is quite fun in his part, especially with drinks. Lori singer plays femme fatale style love interest. John-Rhys Davies plays the corrupt officer, Michael Anderson jr. plays the copfriend, Peter Koch plays the psychopatic assassin and Stacy Keach plays the evil mastermind behind the plot. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie could have been amazing. I mean, just look at that sexy 'stache on Mr. Weller! But it failed. It was cheesy in a dumb and boring way, and Lori Singer was like a gross and creepy walking skeleton. And then the ending just kind of putters off. Despite of awesomeoness of Mr. Weller's 'stache, it simply wasn't worth the waste of time. This movie's plot is too convoluted for itself and the main character, Ryder Hart (Ride-her-hard, get it?) is not likable in the least and all the other characters are just tossed in for 'plot meat' and you don't get a chance to understand their purpose- you just take what the movie gives you with no precedent. Now, granted, I love me some B-movie bottom of the barrell films, and it would have made an zesty cheesy B movie (there are some great one liners in there) but really all it is is a cheap movie with a message of illegal immigrants being abused, a poor script that runs too long and showcases Weller's mustache in some gratuitous softcore scenes. So, unless you like to watch Peter Weller boning mediocore looking chicks and shooting airsoft guns at Gimli's butt, I'd skip this.
