Surfing means everything to teenage penguin Cody Maverick. Followed by a documentary film crew, he leaves his home in Antarctica for Pen Gu Island, site of the Big Z Memorial Surf Off. Cody wants to be respected and admired, and he believes that winning the competition will bring him what he craves. However, an encounter with washed-up surfer Geek teaches Cody about what is truly important.

Sadly being a dumb 3 year old not knowing how incredible this movie was at the time, i didnt pay enough attention as i should have. Then i watched in properly all the way through for the first time on my grade 4 camp. The teachers told us we were watching a movie and i see them pull up netflix and click on what i didnt know at the time was a fucking masterpeice. This genuinely changed my life. Its hilarious, insparational, adicting and so much more. I cant beleive i didnt watch it so much sooner, it should have been playing on the hospital room tv for me the second i was out of the womb. That would have been the perfect starting point. It is fucking biblical how good this movie is.
