'Sye Raa' has heard many interesting things related to it's release, and a big-budget, Telugu megastar movie making buzz in Bollywood is certainly exciting, so I switched off my aggregators and watched 'Sye Raa'. The film comes with a genuinely novel premise and a palpably high dose of nationalism. But I would suggest that you don't watch it in Hindi, because in Hindi, it's bloated, lines don't sync, and it also fails on many levels as a piece of story-telling. Telugu cinema has made interesting films in this decade, just don't go in to watch this one. It's not only unnecessary jingoism, it's a Bahubali repetition exercise which produces more groans and no applause.
